About COI Tohoku Site

We now live in a time when we may live to be 100 years old.
Even as we get older, we all hope to live a healthy and purpose?filled life.
Yet not everything goes the way we want.
However, to bring these wishes even a bit closer, COI Tohoku Site is working on the "Daily Health Screening" project, which uses unobtrusive sensing to constantly assess the lifestyles and health conditions of you and your family, whenever and wherever, to provide full support for you, your family, colleagues and friends. This "Daily Health Screening" consists of three elements: "Measure" (assessing, timing, and weighing), "Recognize" (ascertaining, knowing, and comprehending), and "Actuate"(to impart self?help and provide mutual- assistance), and uses several types of sensing technology to collect information on your health and other related factors.
In this project, the collected information is managed along with physical information centrally as big PDS(personal data service /store) on the cloud, and through comprehension and sharing of this data, we aim to utilize it in a variety of ways.
